1. Can you give us a brief intro to the band?
We are Annular, a groove metal band from a small town in Mid Wales formed in late 2009. The band is myself (Cyle) on vocals, Cris and Brian on guitars, Clive on the bass and Graeme on the drums.

2. Musically, what would you say your main influences are?
Tribal/Southern groove, bands like Pantera, Sepultura, Black Label Society, as well as modern Metal/Hardcore like Lamb of God, Hatebreed, Parkway Drive.

3. Tell us about your upcoming releases?
We have a couple of home recorded demo songs up for streaming on our Facebook page, and are currently recording our debut EP for a summer 2011 release.

4. What are your current tour plans?
In our first year of playing live we have travelled over 1000 miles, and hopefully after our EP is released we'll have even more opportunities tour.

5. Where is your favourite city to gig, both in terms of playing and visiting?
Oxford. [Great answer, well explained. - ed.]

6. If you could go out on tour with any band, who would it be?
Lamb Of God.

7. Have you ever suffered an onstage/tour related injury?
Yes, dodgy backs from sleeping in small cars!

8. What’s the funniest thing that’s ever happened to you on tour?
Various drunken antics... can't really remember! haha

9. What are the best / worst things about being in a band?
Best would be playing the music we love, the worst: we can't hear shit! haha

10. What’s your personal poison of choice?
Strongbow.

11. Which band / album do you love but know you shouldn’t?
Graeme loves Aqua!

12. How much wood would a woodchuck chuck, if a wood chuck could chuck wood?
James Woods.
