1. Describe your band in 13 words or less.
Aggressive female fronted Thrash/Death metal with
lots of raw energy.
2. What are your main influences, both musically
and otherwise?
80's Thrash & Death Metal, music in general, horror
movies, philosophy, human emotion.
3. Tell us about the last record you released?
The last record we release was a full length album entitled
Nightbreed in July, 2010. It consists of 8 songs that
each have their own resonance and melody. Most are brutal
as fuck and a couple that undergo a more melancholy,
slow paced approach.
4.
When are you next out on tour?
We hope with the help of the internet and radio stations
we can be acknowledged by a distinguished label who
appreciates our sound enough to want to sign us. With
this we can be able to tour outside of Canada seeing
as work visas are quite expensive.
5.
Your home town aside, which is your favourite city to
play?
Toronto, it's always a different experience. When we
played there last it was with Darkest Hour, Periphery
and Veil of Maya and it was exhilarating playing in
front of 300 metal fans. An encounter we definitely
want to be continuous.
6.
If you could go out on tour with any two other bands,
who would you pick?
It's so hard to come down to only 2 but I would have
to say GWAR and Anthrax. Lets be honest it would be
rad to see GWAR play every night!
7.
What has been the funniest / most horrific thing thats
ever happened to you whilst on stage / tour?
One time at a show a crazy bum decided to start dancing
to us, waving his arms up in the air and through his
legs, then randomly shouting in Justin's mic (not sure
if it was English) then proceeded to take his false
teeth out and using them as a puppet.
8.
Whats the best thing about being in a band?
Playing live shows. All the energy that's supplied from
the crowd onto the stage is transplendent, makes you
feel right at home.
9.
What was the first record you ever bought?
I honestly can't remember, but before I got into metal
when I was really young before 10 years old I listened
to a lot of classical music so I'm inclined to say that
the first record I ever bought was probably Mozart or
Beethoven.
10.
Whats the most embarrassing CD in your collection?
I'm not embarrassed to admit it but people may find
it hard to believe I own a Sarah McLachlin CD, lol.
11.
If you had to give up music and do a different job,
what would your ideal job be?
I love to cook so a chef.
12.
Tell us something youve never told anyone else
in an interview.
I got a boner.
13. Famous last words?
I got a boner.
