1. Describe your band in 13 words or less.
A righteous infliction of retribution manifested
by an appropriate agent - Really fucking loud.
2. What are your main influences, both musically
and otherwise?
We have so many different musical tastes in the band,
we listen to anything from Bury Tomorrow to Lionel Richie.
Personally, I have always looked up to Eric Clapton
as I started listening to him as a young lad and gave
me the push to start playing guitar and singing.
3. Tell us about the last record you released?
We released our debut album last August and it was a
real achievement for us. We have all been playing music
for so long but none of us had ever reached a goal like
that, so we were all over the moon. To actually see
copies of the CD in shops like HMV really makes you
feel proud, it was a great moment.
4.
When are you next out on tour?
We are currently on tour at the moment with our buddies
in Polar. It's been an absolute blast so far and we
are only a week into things. We still have about 20
dates to play, and it's only going to get messier! We'll
be hitting the road again in the New Year as we are
going into the studio after this tour to write album
two. Pretty stressful stuff but can't wait to get it
out there.
5.
Your home town aside, which is your favourite city to
play?
Well London is always good fun and we love playing in
the City, but places like Peterborough, Wrexham, Newcastle
and Glasgow really treat us well. I'd have to say that
Newcastle is my favourite place out of all of them just
because it's like our second home.
6.
If you could go out on tour with any two other bands,
who would you pick?
There are so many decent bands out there at the moment,
and we have been lucky enough to play with quite a few
of them already. But if it came down to actually touring
with two bands, I'd love to share the stage with Saosin
and Every Time I Die.
7.
What has been the funniest / most horrific thing thats
ever happened to you whilst on stage / tour?
Oh there have been so many daft things that have happened
to us on the road, on and off the stage. I've managed
to fall on stage and land on my crown jewels, which
was pretty horrific for me at the time, the rest of
the guys, however, just laughed.
8.
Whats the best thing about being in a band?
The free beer, cheap sliced chicken (that smells like
egg) and plastic cheese. Oh, and how could I forget,
the fact that we get to go up on a stage every night
and do what we love the most.
9.
What was the first record you ever bought?
I actually remember this like it was yesterday. I brought
Green Day's Dookie on cassette from Tower Records in
London. It was a very important moment in my life, I
haven't stopped buying music since that day.
10.
Whats the most embarrassing CD in your collection?
Oh dear. I have a few, as do the other guys. I think
the worst CD I have is by a band called The Willies.
I brought it in a pound shop in Romford, needless to
say it hasn't been played much.
11.
If you had to give up music and do a different job,
what would your ideal job be?
I've done so many jobs in my life, I started working
when I was 16. If I had to go back to working in Customer
Service again, I would probably jump off a bridge in
all honesty.
12.
Tell us something youve never told anyone else
in an interview.
The Truth
.
13. Famous last words?
Thanks for having us and hope I haven't bored you to
death. Please don't let me ruin our music for you!
