1. Describe your band in 13 words or less.
We play heavy music whilst bringing some funk back
in to your life!
2. What are your main influences, both musically
and otherwise?
Michael Jackson, Christian Machado, Aaron Lewis.
3. Tell us about the last record you released?
We released our debut, self titled, album digitally
in September 2010 and then we released it on CD from
December. Its just a full on heavy funk record
with a hint of what we do live.
4.
When are you next out on tour?
We are playing with Grinspoon at Rock City in Feb and
then we hit the UK in March for some festival dates
and a little touring with Ill Niño.
5.
Your home town aside, which is your favourite city to
play?
Got to be London. Everytime we have played there weve
had new people that have seen us and the crowds have
been so welcoming and receptive. Its really good
to see people enjoying your show so yeah, London!
6.
If you could go out on tour with any two other bands,
who would you pick?
Easy, Ill Niño and Limp Bizkit. They are my 2
favourite bands and theyre both incredible live.
We are extremely lucky to have got on some dates with
Ill Niño so its big for the band but on a personal
level its huge for me.
7.
What has been the funniest / most horrific thing thats
ever happened to you whilst on stage / tour?
Probably the weirdest thing was being chased across
the stage by some raging, drunk old woman when we played
Hard Rock Hell Road Trip in Ibiza. She kept trying to
grab the mic from me and hollering random stuff. Odd.
8.
Whats the best thing about being in a band?
Ive gotta say, I just love playing live. You cant
beat the buzz of playing live. Its made even better
when youre playing to a packed crowd and everyone
is going crazy. Thats the best thing, for me.
9.
What was the first record you ever bought?
I think, it was Michael Jackson, Thriller. I didnt
actually buy it though. My mum borrowed it from a library
and made a cassette copy for me. That said, I have since
bought a copy of Thriller. It is the greatest selling
album ever!
10.
Whats the most embarrassing CD in your collection?
Erm
Eiffel 65 Blue. I know, its about
time I had a clear out.
11.
If you had to give up music and do a different job,
what would your ideal job be?
Probably something to do with teaching or helping young
people in a sporting manner.
12.
Tell us something youve never told anyone else
in an interview.
I have to have the volume in my car on an odd number.
13. Famous last words?
Have you heard? The bird is the word.
