1. Can you give us a brief intro to the band?
The Band formed in the year 2000 and released their
first album worldwide on their own. The good sales brought
us a deal with Napalm Records. The bands roots and the
main songwriters are Austrian (Mario, singer; Martin,
keyboards). Werner the guitarist and Tom the drummer
are also from Austria. Our bass player Mario is from
Germany and our female singer is from Greece. We have
released 4 albums so far.
2. Musically, what would you say your main influences
are?
Our main Influences reach from Metallica to film scores.
It's hard to say exactly.
3. Tell us about your upcoming/present album/demo
releases?
Our new record "Delta" is going to be released
on the 25th of February. It is the fourth output and
contains 10 tracks of symphonic metal.
4.
What are your upcoming tour plans?
We are currently on tour with Rhapsody of Fire and right
now in a hotel in Nuernberg in Germany. In the summer
we will play many festivals such as the Masters of Rock,
Wacken, Metalcamp and others.
5. Where is your favorite city to gig, both in terms
of playing and visiting?
On this tour, Barcelona has been the best place so far
as it is a beautiful city and the home of my favourite
football club the FC Barcelona. The Razzmatazz is also
a great venue and the audience is great
6. If you could go out on tour with any band, who
would it be?
Metallica since they are the reason I started listening
to metal.
7. Have you ever suffered an onstage/tour related injury?
Right now I have stomach problems from something I ate
in Paris.
8. What's the funniest thing that's ever happened
to you on tour?
After a hard party night I once stood in my underpants
(just underpants) at the airport of Soule (South Korea)
for our flight home
9. What are the best / worst things about being in
a band?
Best: Playing live, releasing new stuff, writing new
stuff, being like a family on tour.
Worst: No time for other things.
10. What's your personal poison of choice?
BEER!!!!!
11. Which band / album do you love but know you shouldn't?
Keane - Hopes and Fears.
12. How much wood would a woodchuck chuck, if a wood
chuck could chuck wood?
I don't know, but that's a nice rhythm. Would be good
for a verse, thanks!
13.
Any last words?
Thanks for the interview, be sure to check out the new
album!
