This album will melt your face.
After endless hardship, Decapitated's 5th studio album
is a true gem. From the hectic opening of "The
Knife" until the end of the penultimate "Pest,"
every track is like being attacked by a construction
site. You don't have time to breathe. You can't deny
that the band is technically brilliant, with unbeatable
speed and flawless timing. The album really highlights
the strength of two of the newest members; Kerim "Krimh"
Lechne is consistently brilliant on drums, even without
many moments to stand out alone, and Rafa? Piotrowski,
who's vocals are mind-blowing. The Guitars and bass
are difficult to pick out from one another, but blend
completely to make a hefty cacophony of noise. But
it isn't all brutality, the final track "Silence"
is undeniably beautiful and you could easily fool
any fan of mellow guitar to buy the album if you played
them this song alone.
Essential for any technical death metal fan.
